Do you want to join a dynamic group of Occupational Therapists?
We are looking for a fulltime Occupational Therapist who has a desire to do paediatrics and is not merely looking for a job.
You would be based in our multidisciplinary practice in the Ruimsig, Westrand suburb, working within a prestigious private school environment.
Requirements:
- To start mid-January/early February. (Will wait for one month resignation)
- Someone who is diverse and is able to treat children.
- An individual who has at least two years occupational therapy experience is preferred however hardworking community service occupational therapists are welcome to apply.
- Someone who has started/starting the Sensory Integration course would be ideal but it is not essential.
- Preferably has some form of paediatric training.
- Is able to work independently and take responsibility
- A great communicator with diplomacy being a key skill
- Must work Saturdays
- Fulltime position

Rehabilitation and Functional Assessment Joint Venture
A position will be available for a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join the Rehabilitation and Functional Assessment (RFA) unit, which is a Joint Venture initiative between AngloGold Ashanti and Anglo Platinum from March/April 2012. The unit is responsible for overseeing work assessments performed at the various RFA Centres, and consultation on work assessments within the mining industry. Our offices are based in Potchefstroom.
The position will entail administrative duties, involvement in quality assurance of work assessments performed at RFA Test Centres, operational audits of RFA Centres, training of RFA Operators and locuming at various RFA Centres. Training on the test battery will be provided by the RFA JV Team.
The successful candidate must:
- Have full registration with the HPCSA
- Be able to work in a team and company environment
- Be able to work in a dynamic, changing environment
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Have at least 4 years experience as an Occupational Therapist of which 2 years needs to be in the field of work
- Must have a Code 8 driver’s license as business traveling is a requirement, and be willing to travel
