OTASA is a non-profit professional organisation representing the interests of occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants across South Africa.
OTASA comprises 11 branches and sub-branches, i.e. Eastern Cape, Free State & Northern Cape, Northern Gauteng, Southern Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo Province, North West Province, Southern Cape, Western Cape, Mpumalanga and Vaal & Northern Free State. It is affiliated with the World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT).
Our members are students, educators and practitioners who are interested in supporting our profession and remain interested in its importance.
OTASA aims to support, promote and represent the profession of occupational therapy as a key element of the allied health services in South Africa. OTASA also strives to render a quality service to its members and to add value to their careers. It is furthermore dedicated to the advancement of the occupational therapy profession and the improvement of services to the consumer.
