An Occupational Therapist, in a full time position, from 6 October 2008 is required for the Pretoria Preparatory School, an independent remedial school situated in Brooklyn, Pretoria.
This can be either a temporary post until the end of 2008 or a permanent position.
This is an opportunity to work in a well equipped sensory integration centre as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate must have suitable occupational therapy qualifications and experience. Training in SI is essential. A knowledge of NDT would be valuable. Applicants should have a knowledge of tests used for assessing children.

P³ is an activity based, group therapy programme that has been specially designed to empower our youth with interpersonal skills, which help to develop self confidence, positive self esteem and better peer group relations.

It is a 12-session course that is offered on Friday afternoons at Addnova clinic, Johannesburg for children from 5 to 10 years. Group work is facilitated by a Psychologist, Wendy Antoine, and an Occupational Therapist, either Taryn Rutenberg or Vicky McDermott.
