Guidelines for Working in South Africa

To practice in South Africa as a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy student, there are specific guidelines to follow. You are required to register with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). It is illegal to work in any sector (government, private or non-governmental organisation) as a non-registered practitioner. Registration is done and monitored by the HPCSA.
