The Internship and Community Service Program is a requirement for you to fulfil as a health science professional after completion of your undergraduate degree. These programs are designed to prepare you for independent practice.
The Community Service Policy (CSP) in the health sector was introduced as an important intervention to ensure the availability of human resources in under-serviced areas and also to provide an enabling environment OTs to acquire experience. In terms of CSP you are legally required to complete a year of community service.
